Businessmen from Svobody Street and  owners or tenants of commercial establishments are going to receive a small present from the town hall - a wall calendar of Cheb 2010 (firm, one sheet), sized 100 x 70 cm with air view of Cheb taken this summer.

„This  small present shall be a form of thanks or excuse for all troubles connected with the reconstruction of the pedestrian zone which they had or will have to undergo. Our pedestrian zone has deserved such a significant change," MUDr Jan Svoboda, the Mayor of Cheb, says. „I am glad that we had succeeded in obtaining European money thanks to which we were able to start the construction work this year, and that the construction is realized according to the project by prestigeous designers studio A69 - Architects. Harmonious milieu is being created gradually, which, as I hope, will attract local people as well as tourists, and will bring best quality conditions for running shops and restaurants."
 One thousand calendars have been printed by Culture and Tourism Department of the local authority, so it is obvious that they will be available also for other people. You can buy them in the Tourist Info Centre for CZK 59.-.
