The nearest goal? Paving the whole right side of the construction site until the end of the year.
Work on the second stage of the pedestrian zone reconstruction is proceeding relatively fast and that is the reason why the builders will try to finish paving the right side by request of the town authority, which means the section from Terea to King George Square. The original plans considered paving from Terea to Dejavu restaurant near Prior.

According to Monika Štádlerová, the site manager, there should not appear any problems to meet the deadline. The success also depends on pavement delivery which had to be increased. „The last truck with granite pavement should arrive on December 15. Howewer, meanwhile snow can come which would complicate the laying", Štádlerová said.The reconstruction also trenches nearby communications. The builders have to build besides the pavement a ramp at one house where two disabled people live in Šlikova Street (towards Svatopluka Čecha Street). The project includes the second part of Šlikova Street as well, as far as to the post office. Beginning of this work probably will depend on weather.
