Work prepared and focused by the builders and suppliers for the next days and weeks signalizes that the term of finishing stage II of the pedestrian zone is approaching to its end. On the left side of the construction site (direction from Intersport shop), for example, pavement will be laid and the area in front of PRIOR department store will become green.

Trees in front of the department store should start to be planted on Thursday, 22 April. 11 ornamental pear trees and 6 rotundifolious platanes, which are the same varieties and the same provenience as those ones used in stage I will be imported from Belgium. "The planting will proceed gradually into prepared planting baskets and this should be finished until the end of April" Miroslav Hájek, representative of the site manager, said.
New traffic lights are being finished at the dividing line of both stages and cables for public lighting and for power supply by ČEZ are being laid. The second part of the construction site from Májová Street should be prepared for pavement in early May. Installation of the gate of Time by sculptor Marian Karel, which will be at the end of the time axis with important dates from the town´s history, is planned for June.
Termination date of the reconstruction´s second stage is 30 June. Work in its surroundings which is included in stage III, should be finished on 30 October.
