Today, according to the plan the period I work is finishing in the pedestrian zone in the section from former Bata store to Savings Bank (hoardings and tourist indicators are installed, everything is being checked) so  that from tomorrow test operation can be set and period II of the pedestrian zone reconstruction can start in the section from Savings Bank to the square. Vice-mayor docent Miroslav Plevný has informed about this.

„Period I follows the budget, 52,64 mil. CZKshould be invoiced. The newly built communication will be without green, regarding the summer vegetation period of pear trees and platanes. They should be planted before November 10," the vice-mayor added (mobiliar in the new part of the pedestrian zone is mentioned in the report from August 13).
Second part of the pedestrian zone will be hobbed until the end of September, following probes will show the effective stage. Howewer, planned investition of ČEZ company and adjustment the water drainage with replacing the standpipes will be carried out. The whole period should be finished in June next year, according to the schedule. Then the third, last period will continue - until July 2011 where related crossroads will be reconstructed too.
